It's been over 10 years, now....
Wherever you are Ulysses, know that I cannot "go home" without
seeing you there, running up the driveway, wagging and wooing. I can lie
on my couch, close my eyes, and reach down to pet my dog, Dylan (you guys
would've been buddies ... you're so much alike) and it transports me back
to being 10 years old and petting you. I'll never forget you, how you came
to us, how you followed me to school, how you'd give me your paw, your
" woo-ing" and howling when we put on the whale-sounds records,
how everyone was afraid of you, because you were so big, but you were a
big gentle baby... You are one of the best memories I have. You'll always
be my best friend, and my dog. I Love you, and I'll see you and Kitchie,
and Tiggy and Frankie and everyone again, someday. Sit, good boy. WOOOOOOOOO!

We thank God for bringing us our special little angel who now runs, jumps, barks, wags his tail and playfully chases squirrels together with his brothers and all other angels whom he joins. He now watches over us waiting for the day when we join him in heaven to be together always. Goodbye, our love, until we see you again!

This is for the poor dog that fell out of his human companion's truck bed into 2-15 (San Bernardino California) freeway traffic and was struck by a car and died. July 18, 01 in the morning. Bless you!

My beloved baby, I am so sorry that I could not save you. I tried so hard! When I adopted you, I vowed to give you a safe and secure home, something you had never known. I just hope you know how much you were loved and respected, and how hard daddy and I tried to make you feel loved and secure. I cannot comprehend how brave you were when you were sick and going through all your radiation and chemotherapy treatments, I always thought I knew the meaning of the word bravery, and now I realize that you showed me the true meaning of that word. Do you realize how many lives you touched and the lessons you taught before and during your sickness and how many hearts were broken at your death. When you left me, you took a large piece of my heart with you, keep it safe until we are together again. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life, I love you angel face.

You're a spectacular animal filled with true love and devotion that will never be matched. We'll see you when we can. Love, Mom and Dad
Ushi-
You are my once-in-a-lifetime pet - the bonding was instant and mutual.
So smart, sensitive, entertaining. You were so endearing it was easy to
forget your only vice of gnawing on plastic like some large feline rodent!!
Brother Kuma misses wrestling and flopping next to you - he expects to
see you just like I do and we miss you terribly! You left so quickly but
when I see you next I'll have your laser light! Hugs and love till later,
my "cow"-boy.
