Yarrick, 04/29/02-05/30/06
Yarrick you have been an absolutely fantastic
companion,
and I miss you lots. I miss your velvety ears, your kisses and
your cheerful
barks. I miss our walks and our playtimes. You are missed by all
your friends
too.
I know that you are in a better place now, free from pain and
suffering.
I don't know what else to say...I miss you Yarrick!

Yarrow, 12/20/07
Sweet Yarrow. 10 years ago I was there to help deliver you into this world. You were born on a quilt. When people who wanted puppies came to look at you and you siblings you ran and hid. Rick asked if we could keep you and I am so glad we did. You were a timid little boy. And something that happened when I wasn't around scared you badly. After Rick moved out 5 years later you shyly nudged my hand. The bond was set. For the next 5 years you were a joy. You and your step brother Merlin always picking on each other but secretly loving each other. I don't really know what caused your seizures. You and I were both so scared. I want you to know that telling the vet that it was time to let you go was so very hard. But you are with your Mama now across that Rainbow Bridge. Someday we will see each other again. Your brother and your feline family miss you.
I miss you more than you will ever know. I loved you, Yarrow. Play well, My Son.
Daddy Jay Loves you.
Yeager, 04/07/08-09/07/08
My Friend
Goodbye my friend.
My heart feels so heavy, knowing that you're gone.
I wish I had more time with you.
More time to play, to snuggle, to love, to hold.
You were so loved.
Reagan, Chandler and I wanted to give you a good home, a home
full of love
and laughter.
I think we did that.
You were always there to greet me at the back door.
You always made me happy to walk in the house.
No, I didn't know what mess you had gotten into during the day,
but it
really didn't matter because you were loved.
Having you jump in my lap, being so big and trying to pretend
that you
couldn't jump in the chair was always so funny.
I will never forget the day you jumped on the couch all by
yourself.
You were so proud and had to keep jumping down and doing it
again.
Then there was the snuggling.
You wouldn't settle down and sleep for the night if the
television was
on.
As soon as the television stopped, you would lay down beside me
and sleep.
The night you put your paw on my back and laid your face on my
neck will
always be such a special memory.
You were taking care of me, making sure I knew I was loved and
not lonely.
Yeager, I believe that you are waiting for me.
I will be there one day and we will spend the days playing and
the nights
snuggling.
You will always be my buddy, my good boy.
I love you and miss you so much.
Play now, play with Cooper in the fields of heaven.
Love him like you loved me and I will see you both one day soon.
Mama
Yellow, 06/24/08
Yellow, you came to us one day and never left our
hearts.
When you became a part of our family you filled each of us with
inspiration
and a love of life.
Every day you moved forward one pad at a time and never
complained.
You just wanted to be with us and never be alone again.
You will always be with us and we will never forget all that you
taught
us.
You touched so many lives, I know you are now with many others
and no longer
struggle with the earthly things that tried to hold you back.
Someday we will all be together again and I know when we see
you, you will
come running to us, in fact I don't think we'll be able to keep
up with
you.
You are our strong Yellow and we will always love you.
Love, Mom, Dad, Ginger and Monkee....till we see you again.
Yellow Cat / Max's Kitty, 12/27/08
A starving stray appeared at my 2yo son's feet in
our
backyard last spring and adopted us.
He stole all of our hearts and
eased our pain when
our dog Pokey crossed the bridge this past summer.
He was a spirited, loving cat with attitude -- he grew healthy
quickly
and became our best furry friend. He was Max's Kitty aka Yellow
Cat named
by my 2yo son.
I was devestated to find him this morning after looking
for him all night -- he had been hit and killed by a car.
I'll keep
him in my heart always, he was a true friend and a loving
companion to
us all.
We'll miss you little lion :(

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Ying-Yang, 08/14/08
Ying Yang is a cat that will be missed and will
always
hold a special place in our hearts.
He will be remembered for his cuddling, loving ways, long
explorations in
the backyard, and playfulness. He was more than a pet, he was
"family".
We know he is in a better place, where he can run in the grass
and bask
in the sun.
We love you, Ying-Yang!

Yoda, 10/03/97-10/28/08
Yoda was an important part of our family.
Since she was 4 weeks old, we developed a bond with Yoda that
lasted 11
years!
She went through the college years with us, and she was there to
welcome
our children to the world.
She was always there to steal the warm spot in the bed as soon
as one of
us got up in the morning, and there to bark and protect our
family.
She was special and deeply loved.
We love and miss her, but she will remain forever in our hearts!

My Yoda Girl,
You were always the bravest, toughest, orneriest kitty the vet ever knew. Well done!!! But you were always my sweet Yoda-Bear.
You weren't supposed to leave us so soon, you know. And Velcro missed you so much, that she decided to come find you last Saturday, July 26. Vellie's on her way, so please keep a watch for her and be sure to show her all the best places to lay in the sun... I'll be along before you know it, Sweetheart.

Yoda, 07/02-08/02/08
Yoda was first found on a highway when he was only several weeks old. At first he was a very shy cat, but as he grew older he became more and more social and loved attention and playing in the vegetable garden. However, in the past two weeks he suddenly became ill and the veternarian could not figure out what was wrong with him, and after vigorous & unsuccessul antibiotic and fluid treatments, Yoda passed on and is now waiting for us over the Rainbow Bridge.

Yoda where to even begin with this amazing part of my life. He used to live with my father. My father passed in 2005 and Yoda came to live with me. Yoda has always since around 6mths of life had seizures but just developed congestive heartfailure. Everyone thought he would grieve himself over my father. I took him under my wing and loved him like no other. I think instead of me helping him grieve and heal I believe he helped me. He was my saving grace. He helped me through the most difficult time in my life I have been through. He was a wonderful part of my family. I will miss you Yoda and I always love you. I know you are laying on the couch loving on daddy again. I love you

Words can not describe the world's greatest cat.
Yogi was one of a kind and if I knew the methods of cloning him
it would

He was loving, smart, and the cutest cat we have ever seen.
Nothing or no one could ever replace him.
You will be forever missed and an emptiness will always remain

Yona, 12/30/96-07/19/08
We sent our sweet little one, Yona, on today.
She was such a sweetheart and took such good care of her
brothers and sisters,
and of course us.
She will be greatly missed but we know that she will no longer have to suffer with the pain of her arthritis anymore, even though she was in pain she was going to do just what the other furkids were doing, just not as fast.
In her last days the sickness we believed was cancer was just too much for her to fight anymore, along with the worsening of the arthritis, but I will always remember her last good deed, was when she and her brother Dooley & sister Dakota were left alone in the house, she laid right next to her little sisters crate to keep her company while we were gone. In so much pain, but still thinking of the others.
We know that she is now with her other brother Bear and sister Smokie that have gone on before her.
While they may show her around, she will soon
take over
and be in charge, once again. Free from all the pain to run and
play and
be happy.
We love you Yona and miss you.
We will see you again. We promise.

Yoshi, 06/14/93-08/18/08
The kind of unconditional love you receive from a
pet
is like no other love ever felt in your life. When you are sad,
they know
that just cuddling with you is enough, when you are angry a
little kiss,
or the look of those puppy dog eyes staring back at you can calm
you. And
when you are hurt, they always seem to make you feel better. He
is the
best friend i have ever had, the best friend my parents has ever
had, and
truly a gift from god for us. He truly was the best dog in the
world, and
more importantly the best dog for our family. No other pet could
ever take
his place. Yoshi you lived your life full of unconditional love
and respect,
and you left this world with the same. We will love you and miss
you for
the rest of time. Eternally with you, and you with us.
We love you RIP little buddy!

Yoshie, 10/13/08
My sweet little man. When i went to see the puppies he came to me! He picked me! Out of 5 playful little puppies he came to me and chose me. I was always asked if I had him "debarked" He would open his mouth to bark and only a little squeek would come out! He loved everyone and had no enemy. He loved carrots and lettuce. He slept with me and my husband every night. I love you my Yoshmite! Play with your sister in heaven now. Almost a year to the day when she left us. You are no longer in pain and your breathing is at ease. Your heart is beating normally now. I will carry you in my heart forever. Good night my life long friend. I will miss sharing my coffee with you!

Yoshimi, 04/20/08
Yoshimi fell mysteriously ill about two months before she died. No diagnosis was ever determined. She lost a lot of weight and just lay down one evening and did not get up. Fortunately we had time to take her to the doctor and put her to sleep peacefully...God must have had need for a sweet, mischevious Princess such as she. Yoshimi, you left us so suddenly and we miss you terribly, but we know you are at peace and have met up with your canine brother Wiley, who left this earth a mere four months before. Play nice together and be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge when it is our turn to meet again...

Youkihi, 01/14/08
Youkihi-chan was our special little girl bunny.
She came to us from a shelter just over two years ago. At first
she was
scared, hostile and aggressive, but slowly she warmed to us and
the love
we gave her, becoming gentle and affectionate.
She was so beautiful, with soft brown eyes and unique calico fur
of orange,
black and white.
She became ill so suddenly and died so quickly, that the shock
and pain
are unbearable. We miss her so much, as does her partner bunny
Momiji,
and her kitty friends Minako and Ishii. We all want her to know
how much
we love her.
We can't wait to see you again, Youkihi.
Please be happy. You were the best little bunny anyone could
hope for and
we love you so very much.
You will be missed until the happy day we can finally be
together again.
All of our love,
Mom and Dad, momiji, mina, and ishii.

Yukon's dedication to protecting his K-9 team
partner/handler
and best friend Jeff, plus the city of Novi, MI was outstanding.
His courage to endure the physical pain of his degenerative
disease without
a wimper or yelp, was incredible. Yukon leaves many memories of
his strength,
courage, devotion and braveheart, and a great deal of love, in
everyone's
heart that knew him.

YumYum, 04/21/08
A brave little dog whose "mom" (first owner) i.e. my mother, died of pancreatic cancer four years ago, asked us to please please take her dog. YumYum is a character in Gilbert and Sullivan's musical THE MIKADO, so she named the dog that. We found out a few days later that YumYum was diabetic. Insulin shots day and night for four plus years. All went well but with all diabetic dogs the problems began, side effects, going blind, pancreas failing, liver failure, cancer. Sudden loss of appetite was the beginning of the end, then dog in a lot of pain, to hospital a few days ago then back home when YumYum bravely rallied!! But very next day, a one way trip downhill. Taken to the Bridge 540PM EDT yesterday, April 21, 2008. Same date, April 21st, that Mark Twain passed on, by the way, in 1910. We will never forget YumYum and the great life she led even while with diabetes. She was the best!
