For pet names beginning with "V".
Valentine Shieff, Adopted 1/30/98 -
5/4/13
To our "once in a lifetime" sweet soul. Will miss your
purrs and wonderful personality. You rocked! You
were a lady even while "bulldozing" the boys off the bed!
Thank you for 15 marvelous years of love and devotion.
Hope you are young again and happy over the rainbow and will
meet us at the Rainbow Bridge in time. See you then.
We love you. Gail, Bud, LuckLuck, & Zorro
Vern, August 20, 1995 - February 22,
2013
Today was the day I was dreading. I
had to put my beautiful baby boy, Vern down. After a 4 year
battle with diabetes, this last setback, he just couldn't
push threw it. I knew this day was coming and know matter how
much you mentally prepare; I truly believe you are never ready
for it.
I was so blessed to have Vern in my life. Every
morning when I wake up Vern would be right there beside me. He
loved to be held, He loved his "rubbies" and he loved to play.
Vern I just want to say I love you
I love you with all my heart and soul
And I'm going to miss you so much
I will miss you in the mornings especially
I'm going to miss you when you tell me its time for dinner
I'm going to miss you when you tell me it's time for rubbies
Your siblings are going to miss you as well
Buster-Cary-Myrna- Nicky and Norman
You will always be in my our hearts
You will never be forgotten
Rest in peace my baby boy, I know you are in a better place
right now where your health is restored and you are not alone (
Frisky and Abbey will be with you )
And when it's my time to go and i meet up with you with Frisky
and Abbey I will give you guys nothing but hugs and
kisses

Victor, 2001 - Feburuary 8, 2013
Baby Victor Montana Sherry was born in Corvallis Montana in 2001.
His little head had a "V" on it with dark silver fur, thus the
name Victor. He was named after a tiny little town in the
foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains. Victor enjoyed the posh
life of being a Silver Shaded Persian, and enjoyed being spoiled
by his older brother, Gabe. During his working years, Victor spent
hours tutoring students and greeting visitors. After retirement,
Victor continued to be a door greeter for the Sherry's.
We joke about Victor being a "Celestial" cat because he knew no
malice, he had no ulterior motives, he was never mean, he never
fought, bit or scratched anyone. Victor was an example of peace
and love in our home. Victor's only motivation was having his face
rubbed by Mark and getting his treat when he heard the garage door
open.
Victor has provided us with years of love and companionship. He
was always happy, and always cheerful. Victor loved people more
than anything. He enjoyed parties with many friends.
This morning, Victor suffered another stroke, right around 5 a.m.
he spent the last hours of his awesome life being held and loved
by his momma, and his Markie. One thing is for sure, that Cat knew
he was loved. Our only hope is that he has enough kisses to last
until we see him again.
Animals do something for our souls that we can not do for
ourselves. They love us when we do not recognize love, the need us
when we need to serve. They are constant reminders of our Heavenly
Father's love for us; if we would only stop and enjoy it.
We love you Victor, we can't wait for the day that we will see you
again. You will be sorely missed. Our hearts are broken. We cry
not because you are gone, but because of what you took from us
when you left.
Victor is survived by his brother Gabe Sherry and some humans who
love him very much.
Rest well my darling. ♥ Your momma had to be very very brave
today, I love you!
Vlasy Seis, 03/01/1997 - 04/29/2013
My precious Vlasy,
You waited so long to be alpha and you finally made it--1 year and
9 months ago. You were my sister's dog, and then my parents'
dog, and then MY dog...and I am so grateful that you were.
Although Flaumig (Hi, Flaumig!) was more of a protector, you
needed protecting. Although Flaumig followed me around to
keep me safe, I followed YOU around to keep YOU safe...and it was
an interesting role reversal that allowed you to be my little
baby...and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for
snuggling up near my pillow, for snuggling with me the night that
Flaumig died, and for letting me mother you. Thank you for
liking to be brushed and for loving to eat! Thank you for
being just the right size to carry around, and for hopping around
when you would come in from outside. I look forward to
seeing you again when I cross the Rainbow Bridge, too:)...both you
and Flaumig and Fluffy IV will greet me, and it will be such a
lovely welcome.
All my love to you,
Your person, Lindsey
