For pet names beginning with "O".

My Op, you were there when I left and when I came home. I
sang songs to you and you smiled. We played hide and
seek. We played and rested everyday. You are my best
friend. I love you and miss you. Lloyd

My best pal went to heaven to become an angel. He was so
loved and so old but also so funny to all who loved him.

To my beloved Oreo, my heart is broken over losing you this week.
You unexpectedly came into our lives and filled our heart with so
much love and joy. Many people have said to me in the last few
days that you were lucky because I saved you, I tell them that
maybe I did rescue you from the outside, but that really you saved
me so much more. I reflect back on all the great times you and I
had together and just how close we were and how much love we
shared together. I will miss the little things that you did on a
daily basis; like greeting me at the door when I came home, me
putting your food in the bowl and you hearing me and rushing in to
say thank you for feeding you. Time is really no friend to me
because the 10yrs we spent with you went so fast in a blink of an
eye and I so wanted more time with you, but I realize you were a
gift from God, but unfortunately, I had to return the gift back to
God when he called you home this week. Your physical
presence is gone from our home and that part is very difficult for
me because I will never be able to see you, pet you, and tell you
how much I love you as I did on this earth, but I carry my love
for you and your love for me in my heart and that will go on
forever. Please run and play with the other babies at the Rainbow
Bridge until God calls me home and then we will be together
forever in heaven. God speed my friend and my love. I love you so
much Oreo!!See you later, your buddy Keith

My Dear Best Friend,
You were the best thing that ever came into my life.
You were there every step I took. You were such a good
dog. We went alot of places you and I. To the ocean twice,
camping in Montana and in British Columbia, to Dairy Queen and
McDonalds for Ice Cream Cones and we shared the cone every
time. Turkey dinner at Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving.
You even helped lick the beaters when I made a cake. My
Oreo, how I miss you, how I love you. You have taken half my
heart away with you and I wouldn't and couldn't have given it to a
better friend. There will be no other. You were
everything to me. I wish there had been more time. I wish
alot of things. I hope you wait for me, because I am looking
forward to being with you again. I can't wait to share my
bed with you and everything else that comes to us. Please
wait for me. I will come to you as soon as I can.
I love you with all my heart. Forever and ever. Love
Mom
Owain Gwynedd (“O G”), Sometime
Mid-Summer 2006 - 29th January 2014
When you first came to visit us, you were a few months old if
that. You seemed nervous and needed reassurance, which you seemed
to get when in the presence of your late big brother Jar-Jar. We
decided to name you after the Welsh prince “Owain Gwynedd (which
we often shortened to “O G”, or sometimes even “Og the Mog”)”. But
you were a shy and somewhat nervous little kitten.
You grew to be a quite big cat, but your shyness and nervousness
never really left you. You became friends with the late Trebor...
when he pushed himself into your basket one day while you were
still in it!
We lost Jar-Jar, Trebor, and your younger brother Ravage, and we
were certain you missed them too. But you bounced back and even
when you once went missing for the best part of 2 weeks, you came
back, meowing for us to make you something to eat!
You had to have some dental work one day, and Uncle John (one of
your human “handmaidens”) was somewhat surprised to see that the
vets needed to remove nearly all of your teeth! Uncle Anthony
(another of your human “handmaidens”) used to tease you by calling
you “Jaws” or “Dr. Teeth”, but you knew it was all in good fun and
we all thought the world of you and your feline cohorts.
One day, you had pulled some of your fur and it had stuck under
your chin. Uncle Anthony teased you by calling you “ZZ Top”,
because you looked a lot like them. Uncle Anthony was never sure
if you looked more like Billy Gibbons or Dusty Hill!
You went missing again for about 2 days, but when you came back
this time, we noticed you were not yourself at all. You had no
appetite and had gotten very ill. Despite the vets trying their
best, you were obviously worsening today (29th January 2014).
Uncle John and Auntie Janet (yet another of your human
“handmaidens”) decided that it was time to help you cross the
Rainbow Bridge. Uncle John decided he would stay with you and
“wave you off”, even though he knew it would rip his heart into
shreds.
We had ~7½ years of your company; we just wish it could have been
longer. Like us, your feline cohorts miss you terribly! :(
God bless you Owain Gwynedd. Miss you lots, sweet friend :’(
Lots and lots and lots of love,
Your feline cohorts and your three human "handmaidens" (John,
Janet and Anthony)
