In loving memory of Dottie, Daddy's Princess, who he loves so
much. Dottie was only with us a few years before kidney disease
took her life, but she gave us the most joy. Born December 15,
2016 in the south, Dottie was rescued and sent to Michigan Humane
Society in Detroit, Michigan, where she was adopted by her daddy,
Jonathan, at the age of five on January 14, 2022. From the
beginning of their time together, Dottie was her daddy's princess,
his greatest joy in life, and she was always very protective of
him. Dottie and her daddy started a new life in Port Huron,
Michigan, before moving across the state to the Muskegon area,
where she lived for the remainder of her life. She enjoyed walks
along the St. Clair River at Riverwalk County Park in Port Huron,
was well as following scent trails in Hidden Cove Park, Lake
Harbor Park, downtown Muskegon, and Duncan Woods in Grand Haven.
She also enjoyed evening walks in downtown Grand Haven during the
winter months. Toward the end of her life, Dottie welcomed Waffles
the beagle puppy, who she loved so much and enjoyed playing with
him every day. She will always be greatly missed by her daddy, who
didn't have enough time with her in this life. She will also be
missed by Waffles. The house will always feel empty without her.
Daddy knows he will see Dottie again when it's his turn to cross
the Rainbow Bridge, and they will never have to be separated
again.
