Valerie, you were such an unusual and interesting animal.
Feisty, but also kind when it mattered, your ability to interact
with me is something that I greatly miss. Many times when I
would rub you, you looked so pleased, and I felt great joy that I
could please you. You added so much to my life. Now
you get to be with other chinchillas, and do things with them that
you couldn't do here. That is some comfort and solace
against the grief of losing you to the next world. I love
you and I miss you.
