My sweet husky mix was beautiful on the inside
and out. She chose me at a shelter when she was about 8
months old. The card on her cage said she was not
available but I wrote down her number along with a few other
dog's numbers. While I was talking with the receptionist, she
pulled up her page and said "sorry she's not available".
While we were talking, the receptionist eyes suddenly got large
and she said "Wow, her profile just changed to available!". My
girl found her forever home. She was a therapy dog for a
few years at a hospital and did a wonderful job. She
helped a lot of patients and their families. She was a
soulmate. I am heartbroken at her passing!!

Dearest Karen You were rescued and came to me 7
years ago from a family that either did not want you or couldn't
take care of you. But lucky me! It was love at first sight. I
was thrilled that I had you to take care of... with the loudest
purr ever, you were the most loving little animal with the
sweetest soul I could ever meet. RIP my beautiful Karen - you
will be in my heart forever
