May you have endless ball play, food with cheese, and long walks
to sniff and smell.
Though you’re no longer physically with us, I know that you’re
still here in presence.
We love and miss you buddy, our best friend, pal, always smiley,
furry son. FURever in our hearts, Happy Birthday Woodchuck.

You were my true companion. I was so happy every day just to
look at you. You watched me to see what shoes I was going to
wear every morning, because you knew by my shoes if you were going
with me. When I was sick for so long, you never left my
side. You were such a comfort, and an inspiration to get
well, so that we could take our walks again. When you went
blind, I watched you adapt. You had so much pride, and only
accepted help only when you just couldn’t manage. You
negotiated the steps by feeling your way, and pushed me away if I
tried to help you. It was my pleasure to help you. I
will never forget you, and I will love you always. Thank you
for all the joy and love you gave me. It’s so hard without
you, Woodie! The house is so empty, and you’re not there
watching me get ready for work, or to remind me that it’s time to
get under the covers and go to sleep. Im sorry that you got
so sick that last day. I knew that it was time for you to
go, and it was so hard to let you go. Please come and let me
know that you’re with me still. My Little Sweetheart,
Woowoo.
