Maggie, October
17, 2004 - December 18, 2020
It was a cool, dark and rainy night in December of 2004. We lost
our first Boston Terrier of seventeen years, Wickett, about
eighteen months earlier. My wife, daughter, and I decided to drive
about ninety minutes away, to take a look at a Boston Terrier
puppy. Upon arrival, we were presented with a thin, brindle
female, a little taller than Wickett, with somewhat clumsy, lanky
legs. As she greeted each of us, it was apparent to me there was
something about her. Her demeanor was reserved for a puppy, well
behaved, affectionate but not pushy. She was different, but
special in many ways. Unknown by me at the time, my daughter had
decided we were not returning home without the little puppy. She
later told me she would have bought the puppy even if I had
decided not to. It was no decision, I knew at first sight we would
take her.
We named her Maggie.
Maggie was right at home with us. She filled out and became very
athletic. Maggie was a beautiful dog. Her demeanor never changed.
Maggie was always excited to see each one of us, but not to the
point her excitement was not controlled. When we had company over,
Maggie was at her best. I will always remember Maggie making
everyone laugh with her antics as she played in our backyard.
Maggie became a constant joy in our lives for the next sixteen
years. Every holiday, birthday, vacation, day or night, Maggie was
with us. She was one of us.
In February of 2008, our daughter brought a Maltipoo puppy home to
us. His name was Vinny. Maggie immediately took to Vinny, and her
motherly instincts were very apparent. Maggie would stand
patiently and watch over Vinny while he ate, always waiting for
Vinny to finish before she would touch the food bowl. Vinny
loved to play tug of war with his toys. Maggie was quick to play
with him. Although she was bigger and stronger than Vinny, Maggie
would always creep forward so that Vinny thought he was the
winner. When Vinny was bad, Maggie would always be the first one
there, growling or softly nudging him as if she were scolding him
for his behavior. Maggie and Vinny certainly loved each other and
they were inseparable. Maggie was also so happy and excited as
each of our grandchildren were born and came home.
Maggie was such a wonderful dog. She never disappointed. As for
me, I know full well of the capacity of dogs for unconditional
love. Maggie was special in that she took that capacity to another
level. I truly believe that she thought her purpose for existence
was simply to take care of those around her, nothing else. As she
grew older, I came to believe she was a little lady. Always so
careful as she walked, with gentle little steps in a distinguished
manner. She was a proud and courageous little dog. She had a huge
heart. We loved her and will never forget her.
We love and miss you Maggie. Be happy and run and play with Vinny.
God bless and keep you both. One happy day we will all be together
again.

Mikey, 2002 -
10/11/2021
What a life Mikey had! Mikey was about 3 years old when we adopted
him, and for the next 17 years, he ruled the castle! It’ll be much
quieter around here, seeing that a few years ago he discovered
that he could (literally) yell whenever he wanted something or
couldn’t find us. We’ll be missing the cuddles, the ‘Welcoming
Committee’ when we have company, and your brothers and sisters
will miss you too (even though Ruby and Maggy won’t admit
it). TJ sure has some big paws to fill!
We're sure Sydney, Lizzy and Ozzy are waiting for you at the
bridge 🌈

Koerner, To our family June 16, 2010 - September 29, 2018
Moe,our most handsome and majestic kitty!!!
It has been years you have passed, but not a day has gone by
without me thinking of you, Moe. You took a piece of my heart with
you. You came to in front of our house in the beautiful day in
Fall of 2009. I had not seen a cat that big and long before. I
didn't know about mainline before. I tried to see what was going
on. You seemed peaceful, yet distant. When I opened the door, you
walked away. I put food out for you every day and tried to invite
you in as the temperature dropped, but you walked away. Snow came
and you didn't show up for weeks. My heart sunk thinking something
bad might have happened to you. Weeks later in early spring, you
just showed up in front of my house again My heart danced in joy.
I tried to invite you in every day, but you wouldn't come in. One
good day in summer Anna just opened the door again and you walked
in just like that. You were so handsome. Your fur was so
soft Your tail was long and beautiful. When you walked, you
twitched your tail like I hadn't seen in any cats before. Your
eyes were bright, beautiful and full of wisdom. The vet
couldn't tell how old you were. Your paws were so huge. They were
all white as is you were socks. You were strong and powerful. You
could jump many feet and never missed a landing target. You got
your nickname, Jackie Chan, from that. You were quiet. You rarely
made any meow. When you did, your sound was soft and sweet. It
didn't fit your big and majestic body at all, but I thought
that was very special. Your body was so long. It was amazing when
we held you in our arms. You were peaceful and unassuming kitty.I
loved how you were kind to the my fostered kittens and kept peace
in the house. In Hawaii, you enjoyed being Hawaiian kitty. You
scratched and ripped our screen doors so you could sneak out of
the house. You would come back in an hour. Later, you just got out
to the lanai and enjoyed watching beautiful view of the trees and
sky quietly. My friend told me that you went to check her home
down the bay. You loved Hawaii!! When we were back to mainland in
February 2017, you were content being indoor and did so well. You
enjoyed your life and gave me company. You would sit next to me in
the couch watchin TV. You would sit on the kitchen counter
watching me cooking or sitting at the dining table. You would wait
with Havana and the gang for me to return from work every
day. You would stand right there by the front door waiting
for me coming back from my business trip. You gave me and Anna so
much joy, Moe. You are the best kitty! You were in good health all
the way.I was shocked to learn that you had a small gross under
your lounge during your normal check up. I got you to the surgeon
and had a surgery the following week. The biopsy didn't give me
the news that I wanted. We both fought til the end ,Moe. You were
so brave.
I hated the disease that took you away from Anna and I.I tried to
save you and tried every possible treatment, but the disease won.
Our hearts were broken. Moe,you didn't deserve to go so quickly.
We had the privilege to enjoy being with you only 8 years. They
were 8 amazing years. Thank you for bringing love to our hearts.
Thank you for being the best mainecoon kitty ever. You will be in
our hearts forever. Being happy with Max,your buddy until we will
meet again.
We love you, Milton Moe

Misha (Sweet
Baby Girl), May 8, 2019 - November 4, 2021
Misha was an energetic and joyous mini Schnauzer. She spread
her joy by loving us unconditionally. She died suddenly in a
coyote attack. We are so sad and heartbroken. Her special
dish sits empty and there's no one to remind us about the time for
lunch, 3PM snack or supper. She was so accurate! Her bed and
special blanket are waiting for her. She loved her walks with us
and she would run between my husband and I as fast as her little
legs could carry her. She would get a pet and take off
again. She wouldn't come into the house without getting a
treat. She'd wait just at the bottom of the stairs to wait
for the treat to drop. She loved our snuggle times, along
our walk, at 6AM while we made coffee, and at bedtime. We
miss you so much dear girl. We are heartbroken and
devastated. I sincerely hope you did not suffer. Love
and hugs, my sweet baby girl until we meet at the Rainbow Bridge.
Mom
Mitzu,
05/17/2011 - 03/01/2021
Our sweet handsome boy passed away unexpectedly on March 1st, 2021
due to Saddle Thrombus. Our hearts are stricken with grief and
doubts, and we miss him dearly. Thank you my boy for choosing us,
we tried our best to make your kitty life here as good as
possible. I am so, so sorry we had to take that painful decision
at the vet to end your pain...I would give anything to hold your
head in my palms one more time, and press your little pink nose
against my forehead...Our bond will remain forever, transcending
times and type of love. Please come to us from time to time, the
chair next to the window will be there for you to jump on, and the
garage door opened just enough so you could get inside. Please
meow--the funny way you know, and we will all come running down
the stairs to let you inside...
Mocha, May 24
2003 - July 8 2021
Our precious puppy, even as an old lady pup, was the light of our
household and family. She was full of energy, love and affection
even as she got much older and slower. She remained a happy and
affectionate pup who loved giving kisses and nose nibbles. 18
years is a long time, but will never be enough. We love and miss
her immensely. Rest well Mocha.
Molly,
06/12/2007 - 08/06/2021
I can not put it in words, how empty our home feels without
you. We were a family. Molly, you put so much joy into our
lives. There is a hole in my heart without you. You have
been with me through the good times and bad. Always making mommy
smile. I thank God for the 14 wonderful years we had. I pray
that Nanny found you up there. I know she will take good
care of you until I come. You will forever be in our hearts,
my sweet puppy. WE LOVE YOU ! Mommy's Angel
Molly,
10/03/2006 - 01/30/2021
My Molly was a great dog from the day she was born.
Always full of life and loved to hunt. She was beautiful
in the show ring and in the field. She was a great Mom. Her
first litter was at the vet for a checkup. they
we're only 3 days old. I had them in a Rubbermaid plastic tub
to keep them warm. she couldn't stand it and flipped the lid
and jumped in with them! It wasn't very big but she
was pleased with herself. Never a dull moment with that beautiful
red dog.She was my free spirit and I loved her for it! At our
first hunt test She took off hunting the birds and I couldn't see
her.
One judge on horse back told me she was up on the hill. Molly
slept in bed with us. Went on countless trips with me over the
years. She would sit or lay in the front seat. She was
mommas girl.
when she was too old to travel with me she would
look for me and wait. After 14 yrs she has gone ahead and once
again waits for me. I miss her so much. Her ashes are next to my
pillow. It calms me some. I look forward to see her once again as
well as the others gone before her. Now her daughter's do their
best but don't know where you are. I'm sad along with them. Molly
you were the total package. You were a Journey I Treasured always.
Have fun hunting. Till we meet again beautiful girl. I love and
miss you forever.
Molly,
10/03/2006 - 01/30/2021
Molly I was not ready for you to leave, but I knew you had to go.
We had a lot of wonderful years together and a lot of fun.
At 6 months you won your class at our national. Plus 2n in
sweepstakes. What a thrill it was to watch you fly around
the ring! You finished your championship pretty quickly.
Then grew up into a beautiful girl. You had 3 small litters
but each one had a beautiful pup to carry on. Now your daughter
has given us a beautiful boy. You live on thru these pups.
BUT I would rather have you here. Your chair is empty.
is empty unless princess Erin is in it. I don't
think she understands where you are.
My heart is so empty now. I go on thru the paces but it's not
the same. I miss your smile and your barking silly dances. Oh
Molly
what on earth happened? All of a sudden you were on the ground
and couldn't walk. It's like you had a stroke.
I just can't let you go yet. Your ashes are here
behind my pillow at night. I miss you sweet Mollynator
I can't wait to see you again and all you brothers and
sisters. Wait for me...I miss you.
