Good-bye my friend, you had to go.
I hope you knew we loved you so.
You gave us all you had to give.
For that you will always live,
in our hearts.
I left you here to guard my home
I never worried about my family
being alone, because you were
there.
Your last night with us, you
woke up and looked at me twice.
What were you trying to say?
That you didn't want to go away?
Your heart was brave, and pure and
true. For that we'll always love you.
My dear Friend, My Dear, Dear Friend
I think our hearts will break, but this you
must know.
You have left us:
Joyous, for having you in our lives.
Blessed, for your honest friendship.
Wiser, for your quiet acceptance.
More, for having known you.
Saddened at losing you.
Determined to have your goodness
live-on through us.
We WILL be kinder to our fellow creatures,
BELIEVE that those around us are honorable.
EXPECT that those around us will love us.
GIVE all around us the benefit of the doubt.
We will Act with honor, Live with courage,
and treat all with the love and dignity that
you gave and expected.
Good-bye BARKY-FACE, Treasured and Honored friend, Good-bye.
