Udo was the best friend I ever had. He always forgave me for my faults and was always there when I needed him. I know he is always watching over me.

Mom and dad miss you so very much. The house is not the same without you. It is so hard to let you go. But we know that you are in a much better place and not suffering anymore. We know you are watching over us and we thank God that you came into our lives and filled our hearts with so much joy. We love you and we will be together again some day.

This stray Rottie was killed by abuse today, 09/29/98, in Phoenix. She was lit on fire by some terrible person. Why? No one knows. I just know that she is in a better place now. May she rest in peace and I hope she knows that some of us humans care.

I never knew you were coming. I took your mother in as a rescue and a week later, I left for a weekend vacation. When I returned, I learned of your births and passings. All seven of you will be missed, even though you were not known. I'm sorry I couldn't have held you. I'm sorry I never got to look into your beautiful baby eyes. You will be missed dearly.
To my unknown babies~
With Love,

Ursa Ursula, Uschkala
my sweet schnoog,
schnazz, jaws ...
Urse the Curse,
brave sweet good
I buried
my face in your fur,
smelling sage.
You lost the use
of your legs
I kept dreaming
you could run again
I knew you could.
Before all that
You left
my front door
permanently scarred--
one day I came home you
didn't recognize me
hurling yourself against the glass.
I saw what you would do to save me.
I covered it up.
I used to dream of you going over the edge
of a waterfall,
Falling down into the darkness like Rapunzel's hair.
Into the water you sunk.
I tried everything.
I want you to climb back up
but I can't save
you you
saved me.
I will save you.

Ursa was a rescue from an elderly lady's house in 1981. She was a treasure (Ursa). There were 15 cats and 1 dog. I found homes for all but Ursa, Gertie and Jenny. Ursa was the last of the "Sullivan kitties". She was such a sweetie. I always thought if she wore clothes she would be in sweats with a headband--she was very athletic! She passed away peacefully last night. I will miss her very much. She was truly a treasure. I'll see you later Ursa.
Donna Baker
Born 12/13/74 she was an all black domestic short hair cat. She passed away on 04/15/96. She belonged first to Nancy and then to Dave when they were married in 1987. Her body is lying in a pet cemetery in Southern California but we know we'll see her again when we cross Rainbow Bridge someday. Until then, play on with your little friends and never stop looking for us because we are always looking for you.
With much love for our Utah (Baby Utes),
Nancy & Dave Canoy
